DISCIPLINES
TARGET RIFLE
Target Rifle or “TR”, the most traditional discipline, predominately shot with .308 calibre but .223 is also allowed under the rules.
This type of shooting uses no magnification only peep sights and is shot off a sling, in the prone position. This was the original style of target shooting.
F-CLASS STANDARD
Again a .308 or .223 calibre rifle but with a scope attached and can use front rest and rear sandbag.
F-CLASS OPEN
This is unlimited calibre up to 8mm. Front rest and rear sandbag allowed. This is the “formula 1” cutting edge discipline.
FTR or F-CLASS TACTICAL RIFLE
This discipline is shot off a front bipod and rear bag and restricted to .308 cal.
This F-Class discipline is growing rapidly in popularity.
SPORTER HUNTER
The newest class to be embraced by our regulatory body NRAA & NQRA.
This is a class where you can bring your factory produced hunting rifle and compete out to 600 yards or further depending on your rifle’s capabilities.
As the rules do not permit them at this stage, please no Muzzle Brakes.
